Backend Platform Engineer

About the role

Develop the APIs and platform foundations behind a multi-tenant workflow product. This is a fully remote role; our collaboration hub is Berlin, Germany. Candidates must be based in Europe and able to work with Europe/London, Europe/Berlin business hours.

What you will do

• Design and operate Python services using FastAPI and PostgreSQL.
• Build secure REST APIs and asynchronous processing for high-volume workflows.
• Own containerized AWS deployments, observability, and reliability improvements.
• Partner with frontend and data teams on clear contracts and production diagnostics.
